ESRI Products 8.x

ESRI is the world leader in geographic information system technologies. ESA specializes in the customization of ESRI’s products for the oil and gas industry as well as resale of ESRI’s out-of-the-box systems to our clients. GIS software provides a wide and powerful suite of tools for data integration, mapping, display and analysis of the type of spatial information that is at the heart of exploration and production.

ESA resells two lines of ESRI’s GIS products: its desktop solutions, centered on ArcView® GIS and its net mapping systems, based on ArcIMS(tm). Typically, ESA sells ESRI products to clients who are also either buying ESA-developed GIS systems (based on ESRI products) or have retained ESA to consult in the development of customized software solutions. For these clients, ESA offers ESRI’s products at discounted prices, packaged with ESA’s products or consulting services.

Generally, ESA does not serve as a reseller to buyers outside of oil and gas. This is to ensure that we can provide expert user-support after the sale. We will be happy to guide those outside oil and gas who are interested in ESRI products to a reseller familiar with your applications.

ArcView 8.x/ 9.x	ArcGIS 8.x maintains the base functionality of ArcView 3.x and adds a host of improvements. New features include advanced analysis and the ability to add data from the Internet. ESA's GOM³ is now available for this platform.
ArcGIS Spatial Analyst	The Spatial Analyst extension to ArcGIS supports 2-D gridding and grid operations and contouring, among other functions. Several gridding/contouring algorithms are included, which meet many geologic and engineering mapping needs.
ArcGIS 3D Analyst	The 3-D Analyst extension to ArcGIS provides tools and a framework for 3-D GIS--a critical need for subsurface mapping and modeling. This extension is used in GOM³ for creation of 3-D reservoir models, wells and completions.
ArcGIS Geostatistical Analyst	The Geostatistical Analyst extension that provides a powerful suite of tools for spatial data exploration and optimal surface generation using sophisticated methods.
ArcIMS	ArcIMS is the leader of a new generation software for delivering GIS functionality and spatial data to browsers – either over the Internet or within private intranets. It offers advantages of simplicity, access and efficiency that make in the foundation for “next generation” GIS.
