1) With wells loaded in the map, use the Query
Wizard to choose only those wells that have velocity survey data.
2) In the Query Wizard, choose the Definition Query option at the top. Then in
the list at left, scroll towards the bottom and double-click ‘Velocity Survey
Flag’
3) Click the ‘=’ button in the middle and double-click ‘Y’ in the list at right.
Then click the Apply button and close the window.
4) Now that only wells with velocity data appear, use the select tool to
highlight the wells to analyze.
5) Finally, click the Tools button again and choose the Chart Velocity Data
tool.
6) The program will prompt you to decide whether the Y-axis should be positive
or negative.
7) Finally, the data will be written to Excel and a chart will be generated from
this data.
