How to Select By Location

1. From the Selection menu, choose Select by Location.
2. Through a dialog box click a selection method.
3. Click the layers whose features you would like to select.
4. Choose a selection method.
5. Click the layer you want to use to search for the features.
6. Set the distance in which to search for features.
7. Click Apply and Close.

In the example provided, fields are restricted to those within 50 miles of the Federal Waters Line.
